Coastal Culture and Maritime Heritage

The Baltic Sea has always connected the people around it, thus coastal culture and maritime heritage show important similarities essential for understanding our common identity and history. However, our coastal culture and maritime heritage are threatened by both the crisis in traditional coastal and maritime industries, and also by the pressures of recreational activities and urban development. The working group works to raise awareness of these issues. It also suggests, promotes and initiates projects and actions for co-operation.
